Terms & Conditions

At Roundabout Circus, we believe in being clear, fair and transparent. By enrolling in a class, program or event, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Where the student is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must accept these terms on their behalf.

What to wear and bring

  • Wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in — pants and a t-shirt work well.
  • For aerial classes: leggings, tracksuits or pants below the knee, and shirts that cover your back, armpits and waist. Leotards are recommended for advanced aerial. No loose clothing, jeans, or clothing with zippers on aerial fabrics.
  • Remove all jewellery before class — particularly rings and dangly pieces.
  • Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied up.
  • No shoes on the mats. Shoes are required for stilt-walking and fire spinning.
  • Bring a water bottle — tap water is available for refills.
  • No food during class times. Strictly no chewing gum.
  • Don't bring valuables. All personal items go in the reception cubbies. Lost property is donated to charity at the end of term.

Arrival and pickup

  • Arrive on time and check in at the reception kiosk.
  • Wait in the reception area until invited into the training space by a coach.
  • Participation in the warm-up is required for safety (important for injury prevention).
  • Students under 12 must be dropped off and collected by a parent or authorised guardian unless prior arrangements have been made with the office.
  • No supervision is provided for students arriving early.
  • Classes finish as scheduled. Please be punctual for pickup.
  • Wait inside until collected, and young children must be escorted to and from vehicles.
  • Drive slowly through the carpark and supervise children at all times.
  • Inform us if there's a change in pickup arrangements (e.g. a non-family member).
  • If you're running late, call 02 4311 7133.
  • Duty of care begins at the scheduled class start time and ends at the conclusion of the class.

Staying to watch

  • Parents and family are welcome to stay and watch but are not required to. If you drop off young children, please ensure your contact details are current and you remain reachable.
  • Viewing area for non-participants is the reception area only.
  • Parents and siblings must remain out of the training space and not touch equipment.
  • For Cirque Possible and Preschool classes: parents and support workers may assist students in the training space. Anyone joining must remove their shoes and follow the trainer's instructions.

Our core programs

We offer circus classes and programs for children, teens and adults, running from February to December in line with NSW school term dates. Classes are not held on public holidays or during school holiday breaks. We operate our core program for 40 weeks per year.

Members are automatically enrolled on an ongoing basis with no need to re-register each term. At the end of the annual program, students must re-enrol for the new year due to schedule and program changes. We will notify you by email at least 5 days before each payment is processed, giving you time to make changes if needed.

Some programs have minimum age or experience requirements, listed in the customer portal at the time of booking. Any class listed as intermediate or above may be subject to pre-requisite skills for enrolment or make-ups. We reserve the right to place students in the most suitable class for their age and ability, and to update our program offerings from time to time.

Holiday Programs run each school holiday period and are separate to annual membership. Eligibility and pricing are listed at the time of booking.

Membership & fees

Fees are calculated across approximately 40 teaching weeks and divided into 11 equal monthly payments from February to December. Fees remain consistent during months with school holiday periods. See the Membership Policy for full details, or Membership & Pricing for current rates.
