Meet the Team

Roundabout Circus is powered by a crew of passionate humans who love nothing more than sharing circus with our community. Coaches, performers, founders and friends — say hello to the people behind the big top.

Meet Our Founders

Rachel and Andy founded Roundabout Circus in 2017 as the Central Coast's first not-for-profit community circus.

Our Team Under the Big Top

Our coaches and instructors bring a world of circus experience — and a whole lot of fun — to every class.

Sarah Bloom — Senior Trainer, Roundabout Circus

Sarah Bloom

Senior Trainer

Sarah began her circus career at just six years old and has never looked back. She has travelled and performed around Australia as a professional dancer, aerialist and acrobat, and joined Roundabout Circus in 2019 straight from the circus tent. She plays a pivotal role in choreographing our epic showcase routines.

Loves aerial silks, tumbling and acrobatics. Mumma to circus prodigy Dimity.
Raymond Matthews — Senior Instructor, Roundabout Circus

Raymond Matthews

Senior Instructor

Ray discovered poi online in 2009 and was instantly hooked — since then he has met and learnt from amazing circus and flow artists all over the world. With a Fine Arts degree majoring in ceramics, he came to Roundabout as a student in 2016 and started teaching in 2017. He has been melting minds and mesmerising audiences ever since, performing locally and interstate, and loves inspiring the next generation of circus enthusiasts.

Loves poi, hoop and silks. Snack of choice: sweet chilli and sour cream chips.
Hunnah McNab — Senior Instructor, Roundabout Circus

Hunnah McNab

Senior Instructor

Hunnah came to circus from a rep soccer background — gym pull-ups got boring, and circus most certainly did not! A psychology major, she coaches with a “nervous-system-first” approach and specialises in supporting hypermobile, neurodiverse, and pre- and post-partum bodies. She takes our motto “circus is for everyone” literally, and loves working one-on-one with students to help them reach their goals.

Loves silks, rope and trapeze, juggling, hooping and acro/handstands. Powered by apples, lollipops and any decent vegan chocolate.
Justin Middleton — Trainer, Roundabout Circus

Justin Middleton

Trainer

Justin is our juggling ambassador, teaching youth, teen and fire classes. With artistic flair and a calm, encouraging approach, he brings a unique energy to every student. He loves teaching and dreams of making juggling part of the national curriculum.

Juggling is his thing — it empowers, and proves nothing is impossible. Often found practising his art in rainbow attire.
Carly Robinson — Trainer, Roundabout Circus

Carly Robinson

Trainer

Carly's circus journey began with fire poi and staff in 2005. In 2007 she discovered a love of hoop dance and started crafting her own hoops, teaching others and spreading joy through her classes. Over the years she has taught baby circus, kids circus, adult circus, parties and community events, and treasures the Roundabout Circus community.

Loves hoop dance — and crafts her very own hula hoops.
Vikki McIntyre — Administration Coordinator, Roundabout Circus

Vikki McIntyre

Administration Coordinator

Vikki expertly coordinates all things admin, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She handles parent and student questions with ease and a warm, friendly approach — no question is too tricky for Vikki. Her organisation and care make Roundabout a welcoming place for everyone.

Loves a bit of hula hooping between all the office shenanigans.
BA

Brittany Adams

Junior Coach

Brittany loves being creative and connecting with others through movement — and circus has been such a fun way to do it. She started training with Roundabout in 2015, joined the Roundabout Performance Troupe, and began coaching in 2022. She loves being at circus because, in her words, adults can be a bit boring sometimes!

Loves aerials and developing new acts. Snack of choice: choc-chip cookies and ham-and-cheese croissants.
SL

Sinead Lloyd

Junior Coach

Sinead joined Roundabout at just seven years old and has been part of the family ever since, progressing through every class along the way. Circus was the first sport she genuinely wanted to attend — and practise at home! She loves supporting students in class, helping them create awesome performances, and you will spot her at almost all of our public showcases.

Loves trapeze (the best aerial, she insists!), juggling and hoops. A big foodie — Thai, Vietnamese and Mexican are her favourites.
