Youth Tumbling
High-energy acrobatics and floor skills — rolls, cartwheels, handstands, walkovers, round-offs and more, with safe progressions. Mondays 5:00pm.
Youth Tumbling is a dynamic and high-energy class focused on developing strength, coordination, agility, flexibility, and confidence through acrobatics and floor-based movement skills. Students learn safe tumbling progressions in a supportive and encouraging environment while building strong movement foundations that can support circus, dance, cheer, parkour, gymnastics, and general physical literacy.
Classes are designed to help students progress at their own pace while developing body awareness, resilience, and confidence through movement and play.

- Young people interested in acrobatics and movement
- Beginner to intermediate students
- Ages approximately 8–14 years
- Students wanting to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence
Skills Students May Learn
Pre-requisite skills: a forward roll on the floor, a wall handstand, and a cartwheel. Depending on experience and progression level, students may work on:
- Forward and backward roll progressions
- Cartwheel variations
- Handstands
- Bridges, walkovers and limbers
- Round-offs
- Front and back tumbling drills
- Handsprings and saltos
- Balance and coordination exercises

Warm Up & Mobility
Classes begin with cardio activities, dynamic stretching, mobility work, and movement games designed to safely prepare the body for tumbling and acrobatics.

Conditioning
Students build strength, flexibility, and body awareness through targeted conditioning exercises focused on core strength, shoulder stability, active flexibility, and safe landing technique.

Skill Development
Students work through tumbling drills and progressions suited to their individual level. Coaches provide step-by-step guidance and spotting where appropriate.

Creative Movement & Combination Work
Students may explore linking skills together into short sequences, movement pathways, or collaborative activities to develop flow, creativity, and confidence.

Classes finish with stretching, recovery, and reflection.
