Youth Circus Arts is an energetic and engaging class designed for young people to explore a wide range of circus skills in a supportive, creative, and inclusive environment. Students develop coordination, confidence, teamwork, creativity, and physical literacy while learning the foundations of contemporary circus arts.
This class encourages self-expression, resilience, and play through movement, helping students build both physical and social skills while having fun and connecting with community. At Roundabout Circus, we believe circus is for everybody and celebrate progress, creativity, and individuality.

Typical Class Structure

Welcome & Warm Up
Classes begin with energetic games, cardio activities, mobility exercises, and stretching to prepare students for movement and skill development.

Skill Rotations
Students rotate through different circus disciplines and stations, allowing them to explore a broad range of skills and discover their interests.

Creative Activities
Students participate in improvisation, movement games, partner activities, and group challenges that encourage collaboration and creative thinking.

Group Skill Building
Coaches guide students through skill progressions, teamwork exercises, and collaborative circus activities suited to their age and experience level.

Classes finish with stretching, reflection, and grounding exercises.
