So, picture this.
One person balancing upside-down on a single palm; the other, steady as a statue with a heartbeat. That’s Duo AussieBela. Danii (“Aussie”) and Sasha (“Bela”), a partnership built on trust you can feel from your seat.
Danii grew up in Mudgee and carved a global path as a dancer and aerialist, including Paris’ Moulin Rouge, before circling back home with a sky-high bag of skills. Sasha trained in Minsk, Belarus, a powerhouse gymnast whose specialties range from Russian Bar and Trampoline Wall to Cube manipulation. These are the disciplines that make physics look optional.
Together, they’ve amassed accolades (hello, Bronze at the 2019 Australian Circus Festival) and stages around the world, from cruise ships and big-top tours to Melbourne’s Club Vegas. Their signature “Quick-Change Adagio” is a blink-and-it’s-gone costume change threaded through hand-to-hand acrobatics, a blend of mystery and muscle.
Why are we so excited to host them? Because they embody everything Roundabout stands for: courage to try the next daring shape, creativity in every transition, and connection that makes the impossible possible. Two people taking weight together so the rest of us can gasp in delight.
